Welcome to my blog! 

In June 2023, I received the beautiful gift of life - a new heart.

This blog will take you on my journey from heart failure to heart transplant, and how faith and patience helped me and my family through our challenges.

Finally, I'll forever be indebted to my donor family for their decision to donate a heart, and to the incredible staff at Freeman Hospital in Newcastle, who made it all possible. I hope this blog can provide you with enough insight and resources about organ donation so you too can have that heart-to-heart conversation with your loved ones about your decision to donate.
